In the spring time the greatest whale watching opportunities in Washington State are in the protected waters near Everett in Saratoga Passage. We relocate our vessel, the Island Explorer 3
down to the Everett Marina during March and April to take our guests out to see the migrating Gray Whales. Over 20,000 of these gentle giants will migrate from Baja Mexico to Alaska each year, some of them stopping to feed in the biologically rich areas near Everett along the way.
Our 2.5 - 3 hour trips provide plenty of opportunity for a variety of wildlife sightings and maximum whale viewing time, as the Gray’s are typically feeding very close by. You may be surprised to learn that each whale has unique markings that identify them. Working with Cascadia Research Group, our naturalists will help you ID the individual animals that have returned to Saratoga Passage every Spring.

Chopstix, a dueling piano bar started with our first location in Lower Queen Anne.
We set the piano’s on fire in September of 2003 and have been wowing audiences with our Rock & Roll Dinner Show ever since. The Boeing Everett factory tours are conducted to showcase The Boeing Company and the Everett product line, the 747, 767, 777 and soon 787. As part of the tour, visitors walk through part of the largest building in the world by volume (472,000,000 cubic feet). On the Boeing flight line, visitors see airplanes in various stages of assembly, manufacture and flight test for airline customers around the world.
RULES (for Boeing Tour)
- All tours are conducted in English and last about 90 minutes.
- The Boeing Company does not permit still photos or video cameras on the tour.
- Children must be at least 4 feettall to go on the tour. Visitors may not carry babies on the tour.

There is no child-care facility at the Future of Flight & Boeing Tour.
- There are no exceptions to these safety regulations.
- There are no personal items allowed on the tour. These items include: purses, backpacks, cameras, binoculars, cell phones, etc.

Lockers are available on-site, for a small fee, at the Future of Flight.
- The tour may require a one-third-mile walk, 21 steep stairs and an elevator ride.
- The Boeing Tour can be done by wheelchair and physically challenged visitors with advance notice. Please advise us when making reservations.
- There are restroom facilities and a café at the Future of Flight, but restrooms are not available during the tour.
- No food or drink are allowed on the Boeing Tour
